The Karlhof is a newly-built farmhouse, situated on a hill with great views.
Our modern, comfortable, clean and very well-equipped apartments are sunny,
quiet and conveniently situated. It is quick and easy to get to and from Innsbruck by public transport from here.

Winter: the pistes and ski cross-country trails of the Innsbruck Olympic region are quick and easy to reach both by
car and also by using the free ski buses. Ski school office. Ice skating rink, toboggan run and winter hiking trails in
and around Rum. 9 ski areas – 89 cable-cars and lifts – 295 kilometres of downhill runs, plus the entire range of
winter facilities in the Innsbruck region at your disposal.
Summer: the starting point for magnificent walks, mountain and cycle tours in the Karwendel Alpine Park.
Walking pins in gold, silver and bronze, 5 managed alpine pastures and mountain huts accessible from the house.
On hot days you can find a cooling breeze and refreshments just 3 km away at Lake Rossau bathing lake.
You are close to the provincial capital of Innsbruck and so are able to take advantage of the city's traditions
and cultural events. Stroll through the medieval streets of the Old Town, enjoy the many and varied shopping
opportunities in Innsbruck.
Whether it's summer or winter, Rum and the Innsbruck region offer many cultural, sporting and recreational facilities.
Skiing enthusiasts will find Innsbruck winter sports facilities right on the doorstep.
There's the Easter in Innsbruck Festival, the Summer Dance Festival, the Festival of Early Music and various other
events in the FoRum events centre, Christmas markets and New Year's Eve in the Mountains, so as you can imagine
the Innsbruck region and the market town of Rum have lots to offer throughout the whole year.

Arrival - car:
Inn valley motorway A12 exit Innsbruck-Ost, take the first opportunity to turn right into the Andechsstraße, and the next opportunity to turn right again into Langer Weg. Continue to drive in the direction of Rum / Hall on highway B171. Distance from exit Innsbruck-Ost to Rum is approximately 3 km. Inn valley motorway A12 exit Hall / West over the Inn bridge to the junction of highway B171, then turn left - 3km to Rum.
Train: Main railway station Innsbruck – Continue journey with a taxi to Rum. Your landlord will reimburse the taxi fare.
Regional train or with the IVB-Buses, routes A, 501, 502 (Doerferstrasse) or 504 (highway B171).
Airplane: Innsbruck airport (10km) – Continue journey with a bus or taxi to Rum.
The Tourist Information Rum is directly beside the road. Brochures, including a town plan can be found next to the entrance door.
